On-page and Off-page SEO are both important!

Hi again you great SEO lovers. It seems like it's been ages since I last posted a little something on my blog, but infact it's been just a few days.
Never the less I feel it is that time again where I share a little something with who ever wants to listen.
It's now been about 8 weeks since I joined the SEO team here at Summit Media, and up until about 6 weeks of this time, all I knew about SEO was, Directory Submissions, Article Submissions, and Press Release Submissions.
Over these past 2 weeks I've learnt absolute loads about Search Engine Optimisation, both on-page and off-page.
And from what I gather, although it's very important to have good on-page SEO, it's still not as important as the off page SEO.
ON PAGE SEO seems like just a little job in comparison to off-page. It's just a case of going into the source code and using the heading tags properly, giving the page a relevant page title, not abusing the meta tags, not abusing the amount of keywords and keyphrases you use on on each page, and finally using keywords as anchor texts.
OFF PAGE SEO, from the stuff I've learnt so far, is pretty much all about link building, which is where the previous three activities (directory, articles, and press release submissions) come into action.
It's all about backward links I'm told, and funnily enough I've no reason not to believe these people who tell me this, backward links are like a vote, when someone links back to you it's like someone giving you a vote of confidence, and the more votes you have, the more google will give you credit, thus increase your page rank and send you up the organic search rankings.
Aah but it's not as easy as that to fool Google into thinking that you're really popular just by getting loads of back-links. Google will eventually find out that you've been using Blackhat SEO techniques to acquire these links, and will soon probably ban you from their search engine. So, although it's very important to have as many back-links as possible, it's even more important that you be careful as to from where you get these.
There are obviously more than just these 3 techniques of getting other sites to link back to you, but I'm not gonna go into it at this present time, as I've now run out of time. However I will share this info with you all on another occasion.
Before I go I have to give myteam leader Jerry Okorie a big shout as if it wasn't for him pushing me into doing things like keyword research and reading books books, I definitely wouldn't be as knowledgable as I am at the moment.
So Jerry, NICE ONE BRUVVA!!

No More Dirctories Left To Submit To?

Hi SEO people, I haven't had much time to update my SEO Superstars blog lately and it's been getting on my nerves a bit if I'm honest about it.
I've been so busy with work that I haven't had hardly any time to write a little article on SEO TIPS AND SEO CHAT.
I can't say that I haven't been doing anything constructive since I last posted, cos I have.
I've mostly been doing keyword research for optimizing clients' websites, working out which keywords to target when doing link building activities.
I've also come to understand a time comes when you run out of directories to submit to. So what do you do then?
Well from what I now understand, is that you start buying links, YEP! That's right pay some clever guy a $100-$200 for a certain number of links, which in his defence would be fairly weighty links. Therefore in actual fact it wouldn't be such a bad idea to go down this road.
Aah yes, another great option we have is to.........
Wait for it, I'll share that with you next time.

SEO TIPS AND ADVICE FROM THE SUPERSTARS

Hi again SEO'ers. As stated not so long ago, I will be sharing my experiences, giving advice to who ever asks, and tips to all who might benefit from it.
Today I felt it to be a good day to share a couple of really useful links with you guys, you'll find these particularly helpful if you have your own websites.

By using these links you can get some really valuable information back for your site, things like if you’re using your keywords correctly, if your page is too big, and they even give suggestions as to what you should do to improve things.

One link is from the company I work for, Summit Media, and the other is for Web Page Analyzer.
These are both great little tools to get a much better understanding of whether or not your site is Search Engine friendly.
Anyway, the weekend has approached yet again and I will be missing again until Monday, so have a nice and happy weekend, you’ll all be in my prayers and thoughts.

Energy In Motion, Create The Right Energy!

I know this isn't nothing to do with SEO'ing, but I still thought it to be important enough to share with you all.

Scientists say Quantum Physics is an amazing science. I watched the movie, 'What The Bleep Do We Know' which is way beyond my comprehension so I had to watch it a few times before I began to have an understanding of this science of energy.

Everything is energy. Everything has a vibration around it. Even things that we think are standing still really are not such as your desk, your chair and your clothing. It is all vibrating energy in motion.

Our thoughts are also energy and are very powerful; much more powerful than you ever will realize. Compare your thoughts to the sparks from a flame in a campfire. Those sparks can turn into a flame but most of the time they just die out. A thought only lasts a few seconds and then you are on to another thought. So we usually do not realize the power of our thoughts. If you add focus to one little thought it will break into a flame that will ignite desire and passion your very being and catapult you to new heights within your imagination and thus begin to receive inspired actions to take. Think of your thought that you want to sustain as the sun burning through a magnifying glass. Your brain can actually create anywhere from 5 to 10 watts of electrical energy. Well, 5 watts will not light the inside of a refrigerator but you can take that same 5 watts and put it into laser energy and burn a hole right through that refrigerator door! Amazing, isn't it! Put that 5 to 10 watts of thought energy to create what you want in your business and your life with laser focus! Make it a great day!

SEO TIPS AND EXPERIENCES

Hi again,
I thought it's about time I updated my blog with my latest SEO experiences.
Today I've been compiling my monthly reports for my clients on what work I've carried out for them over the month of July.
The main duties I carry out for my clients are, general directory submissions, creating and submitting articles, and press releases, all of which play a key role in building back-links to your site, which in turn lets the search engines know that you have a popular site, which again in turn makes the likes of Google and others rank your website higher in the organic searches.
Today I also carried out a health check on a prospective clients site. A health check is basically checking how good your on-page and off-page SEO is. Obviously the better your SEO on your site, the higher you will rank in the organic searches.
